Hey, Society!?

so, in my social organizations class we were talking about technology

and how it dumbs us down.

let me explain, yes, we are a smarter society because we have these super cool gadgets

and these gadgets tend to make our life easier...

but, we dont remember how to do the simple things like spelling or subtraction

thanks to the registers at work i just spit out the change it tells me to.

i dont know how to subtract the balance if the register fails right on the spot

i have to use the calculator or write it out.

forget doing it in my head.

AND

a few days ago i was writing down my notes in class from the teacher

and I had no idea how to spell some of the words.

 i forgot how to spell. : -/

thank you spell check for me fully relying on you.

a lady in class was talking about how her friend was helping their kid

study for a spelling test... and didnt know how to spell some of the words.

we are becoming stupid.

even now, before i publish this blog, im going to spell check.

idunno,
im kinda concerned about the world, and where technology is going to lead us.

i dont know if i want that much technology, to control me or "help" me.

its kinda scary... like really.
